Devon Nicholson

Devon Nicholson has been involved in the needlepoint industry for more than 20 years. In the beginning she painted for other designers. But her ability to design quickly came to the fore and she began designing canvases of her own. Devon's designs are highly prized by discerning needlepointers everywhere.

Taking a sabatical from needlepoint several years ago, her career took a new turn. She decided to open a graphic arts studio specializing in website design and creation. Her unique services in this arena quickly became the envy of the needlepoint industry. Today her studio, Devon Nicholson Design, is thriving. Her clients include needlepoint designers, retailers, travel agencies and restaurants throughout Caifornia.

Fortunately, Devon never tired of designing needlepoint canvases. She recently decided to pick up a brush again, and the results have been nothing short of spectacular. Her unique sense of style combined with an unusual affinity for color are readily apparent in each canvas she produces.

A native of Northern California, Devon resides in the Sierra foothills of Calaveras County. In her spare time she she enjoys working in her extensive rose garden and playing the baritone ukulele.
